Family-Friendly Stay at Hotel des Alpes, FolgariaDuring our recent family vacation to Folgaria, we chose Hotel des Alpes as our base for exploring the region. After a lengthy journey, we appreciated the cozy lobby, which provided a welcoming environment for relaxation, featuring comfortable sofas and a bar area with a flatscreen TV-perfect for catching up on British football. While the hotel's public areas and location were satisfactory, our accommodation fell a bit short of our expectations for a three-star establishment. Our initial room was small with a view of the unattractive courtyard, which was somewhat disappointing. Though the furnishings seemed dated, we were eventually able to switch to a larger room-albeit noisier-after a couple of days. We enjoyed a range of activities, including hiking and golfing, which kept the family engaged throughout our stay. Despite a few challenges, my children particularly enjoyed the hotel's proximity to local ski lifts, making outings easy and convenient. In summary, while the hotel offered a reasonable location and decent dining options, it might benefit from some updates and improved staff responsiveness. A great choice for educational trips or family adventures.
